The Art of Beginning

I've recently felt like I haven't been doing enough to achieve my art goals. Sure, I've been making art on a regular basis, sketches are not a problem and my imagination is, as usual, running rampant with new ideas for pieces. But, I've been falling behind on the act many artists find scary... and that, my friends, is promotion.

Promoting yourself as an artist is so vitally important! You can't expect anyone to like your work if they can't find it in the first place. SO, with that I made a resolution this month to really work on my promoting skills and updating my social media pages. On top of that *drumroll please* I finally have the YouTube channel up and running! Hooray! Yes, it's a work in progress.

I'm very excited to start posting time-lapses and speed paintings on there. I've always enjoyed watching other artists work through time-lapses, so why not give it a try too. The next video should be out extremely soon, if it isn't already by the time you are reading this (crazy right?). My instagram feed for my art page has been linked up to the site as well! Exciting stuff on the way!
